International Volunteer Opportunities are an exciting way to explore missions with just a short-term commitment. Our international volunteers primarily serve with educating and caring for our children and help provide a loving, Christ-centered environment at our ministry. The opportunity to have one-on-one interaction with vulnerable children and actively share the gospel helps young people see the lasting difference that can be made by an individual for the glory of Christ.

If you live in the Johannesburg area and are looking to serve the Lord by sharing your time, volunteering with our ministry may be a great opportunity for you.

Volunteer to come regularly to interact with our children or help with a project on property.  If you are an individual or a work team looking for a service project, we have ways for you to partner with us!

Short term missions are a great way to experience cross cultural servanthood. At Onthatile, we want you not just to do tasks or projects for us, but to understand how this ministry and others work, while gaining an understanding of SA culture. Our goal would be for your team to leave with a better understanding of how Christianity transcends culture and how to pray for and serve your brothers and sisters all over the world.

Our ministry is growing and so is our need for loving, Christian couples to serve with us to provide long-term, stable homes for orphans and vulnerable children. Ideally, these couples would be South African or be permanent residents.
